A crypto casino is the hardest thing we run on Meta

Most people see “online casino” and assume the hard part is the gambling policy. With TrustDice it was worse than that. TrustDice is a crypto casino - players deposit in Bitcoin and Ethereum, not dollars - and it operates in Canada. So we were not fighting one Meta policy. We were fighting the gambling rules and the crypto/financial-products rules at the same time, in a market where the regulator and the platform do not always agree on what is allowed.

The brief

TrustDice did not need brand awareness and they did not need cheap clicks. They needed funded wallets - players who would actually move Bitcoin into the platform and keep playing. Affiliates and SEO were already doing volume, but paid social had never delivered depositing players at a cost that made sense. Our job was to make Meta a third reliable acquisition channel without getting the ad account killed.

The double compliance problem

Creative had to sell the experience, never the money

Month by month it became efficient, then it became big

The shape of the account is easiest to see in three phases: a single test month, a two-month optimization run, and a three-month scale window where daily spend crossed $3,500.
